Work packages

In the SeaUseTip project the partners closely cooperate within the framework of five work packages. By applying various methods and models they analyse potential vulnerabilities within the subsystems of the North Sea to tipping points.

From the individual parts, an overall picture is then compiled that reflects the complex interrelationships and allows a reliable assessment of the vulnerability of the North Sea socio-ecological system (SES).

Using test scenarios, the project partners confront sudden environmental changes with various management measures. From these, they identify suitable strategies that increase the resistance of the SES to tipping points and thus contribute to its long-term stability.
